1. Reflecting about today's class:Today we discussed the Japanese concept of "wrapping". Do you agree with the web site's description?What do you do that can be called "wrapping"? Give examples and reasons for your actions.
I agree with the web site's description. Japanese use "Honne" and "Tatemae". These mean appearance and reality. For example, I am working part-time as a teacher in a cram school. When my manager ask "Please work today", I say "OK". If I don't want to work, I can't say "No".
2.Preparation for the next class "Death and Funerals" Answer these questions in your blog;
a.Where do you go when you die?
I think when I die, I go to heaven.
I believe there is a heaven somewhere.
b. Explain why do Japanese have death memorial services 1 month, 1 year, 3 years, 7 years, etc. after a person's death?
Maybe Japanese believe death people come back their families and friends.
So, we greeted them after a person's death.

I agree with your idea.
In that situation, I can't say NO!, too. It's difficult for Japanese to refuse an offer.
Yes I think so, too! I also believe that a dead person come back on the memorial day.
Very interesting comments. I really did not think about the dead person returning on that day.
Good work.
